Waiting for Tylden | Birth Photography
I had the privilege to hang out with Tookie yesterday, as his mom, (my dear friend and photographer Kat Braman) went in for her scheduled c-section. It was tough for Tookie to say goodbye to his mom and dad, knowing he had to stay in a room with a strange woman he hardly even knows.
He calmed down pretty quickly…
We watched a little TV…

and then Tylden arrived right on time.

Courtney, I am one of Kats friends. I was writing to try to schedule a shoot for my daughter that turned 15. I had found out through my daughter that she was pregnant and OMG here I am bumping to your link and actually seeing pics of the newborn one day after birth! The pictures you took of Tookie are beautiful. I am always telling Kat that I LOVE photography and i take a million but I don’t think I can ever reach the level you ladies are in!(i guess that is good for business – you don’t need anothe photographer to compete against) 🙂 Well now I know when she had the baby which is actually a very special day for us as its my dearest Mother-in-laws birthday which passed almost 3 years ago. Just yesterday we were remenicing about her and here was little Mr. Tylden entering into the world. For every loss there is a beautiful birth. Please give me regards to Kat, i doubt she will be returning my email anytime soon. I am sure you will be taking pics of Tylden every day until she is able to pic her camera up and start as she did for Tookie. Let her know that Diana Kates’ step-mom says hello and CONGRATS to all 3.
