National Down Syndrome Society "Buddy Walk" | Ft. Lauderdale Photographer
My amazing friend Daniella, invited me be a part of “Team Alex” and walk with her family for the 2010 National Down Syndrome Society’s 2010 Buddy Walk held on Hollywood Beach. Her brother, Alex, was born 10 years ago with Down Syndrome. For the last 10 years her family and friends have participated in the Buddy Walk to celebrate Alex and to promote understanding and acceptance of people with Down syndrome. I met Daniella first about a year ago. She was Owen’s soccer coach at the YMCA. I am truly inspired by Daniella and her dedication to her brother, siblings, and family. (I photographed the love Daniella shares with her siblings over the summer. Check it out here!)
The Buddy Walk was full of beautiful families celebrating their children and the love that they have for each other.

I just found your website from Quiet Life, Donna Boucher’s blog.
I saw that you use a Nikon, and I’m just wondering what kind?
I am saving up for a Nikon D5000, and I’m so excited about it. 🙂
