Last week, the third courtney ortiz photography newsletter was sent to the masses. Getting the newsletter out was the one thing I wanted to accomplish before leaving for vacation, and I did it. My family and I were away for a week. A complete seven days! We spent four days in North Carolina, visiting my grandparents, and three days in Tampa. I shot a wedding on Saturday, so we decided to make a family trip out of it. One of the highlights of Tampa was meeting up with an old high school friend and his family. It had been 15 years since I had last seen my best friend’s older brother. After having breakfast together, their gorgeous daughter and I snuck off for a short mini session. One of the greatest joys of my job is being able to photograph the children of my friends.
She is the true essence of an “American Girl.”
