This is going to be an unbelievable event, with amazing photographers!! Here are a few of the participating photogs. I’m still waiting for photogs to send me images, and as they’re submitted, they’ll be added to the roster!
If it’s pink, frilly, dangly, jingly, or shiny Stella loves it! Of course, I definitely encourage it! She will actually sit and let me paint her toenails, and then sit and wait for them to dry. I love it!
After two fun filled snow days, I think the snow started to loose its novelty to Owen. We stayed indoors most of the day! Which was great for staying toasty by the fire and catching up with cousins!
This adorable little guy’s daddy left for Iraq right before Christmas, for 10 months!!! Mom wanted to create a very special Valentine to send to him. As a Mom, I can’t even imagine what it must be like flying solo for so long. I hate it when my husband has to work late. I was so taken with how strong she is. She’s getting ready to move back up to North Carolina, alone, so that she has the support of other families who also have loved ones overseas. She’s an example to us all! Not to mention she’s absolutely gorgeous!
We booked this session months ago. This brother and sister wanted to do something really special for their parent’s 50th anniversary. So we scheduled a sunrise beach shoot for the first week of January. Little did we know that it would be the coldest morning of the year. 32 DEGREES! It was so cold!!!! But watching the sunrise with a brother and sister who laughed as they shared stories with me of their childhood was an incredibly warm experience!
Kind of a funny title for the following images. The couple isn’t brother and sister. The dashingly handsome guy happens to be my brother, and I love to photograph him. Unfortunately due to the super cold weather this past week, we weren’t able to do the kind of shoot I wanted to do while he was in town with his girlfriend. So we settled on a quick mini session in my parent’s back yard on the morning they left to go back to USF for the spring semester.
I couldn’t have hand picked a better looking couple to capture!!
Our second day in North Carolina was pretty much spent outside in the snow. We attempted many different ways of sledding, none of which were very successful. Owen made his first snowman. Our cousin Amanda named him Douglas. We went to Moonshine Mountain to go tubing (no photos!) The weather was gorgeous!
My brother Casey. I could photograph my brother all day! The snow was pretty hard, so he used to shovel to build the snowman!
I did a lot of my Christmas shopping this year on Etsy. I gave my brother two screen printed T-shirts by Happy Family. Check out more original designs in their Etsy shop.
Attempting to slide down a hill in a plastic kiddie pool, looks a lot cooler than it actually was.
Douglas…
Toasty warm inside. Hanging out with our cousin Amanda!
We just got back from 4 days and 4 nights at my grandparent’s house in Flat Rock, North Carolina. A strong blizzard swept in right before Christmas, so we had snow on the ground the entire time! Amazing vacation! I’m hoping to blog one post for each day we were there.
Day 1: Got to the house about noon! Snow everywhere! Perfect sunny winter day!
Getting my exposure right in the bright white snow was HARD!
The first snowball. Again, exposure was difficult. You can hardly see it!
