We are in full swing here at the studio, and I have to say I love it. The two days of mini sessions in downtown Hollywood were a success and I’m seriously looking forward to all that there is in store for courtney ortiz photography in the upcoming year. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is a week away and the fact that I’m even making reference to next year, 2012, really blows my mind. That being said, we are completely booked here at the studio for the remainder of 2011 and have already started booking appointments for February 2012. A complete list of mini session and studio dates for 2012 will be released in the next few days. In the meantime, keep checking back here at the blog. We have a TON of amazing sessions to share as well as a few weddings.
This is “Jack”! This is the second time I’ve been able to capture this little guy. The first time being at the Share the Love event to benefit the Haitian Earthquake effort back in January 2010. He’s gotten a lot bigger in the almost two years since I last photographed him. He’s adorable, and what makes it even more special is that his dad was my lab partner in 10th grade physics.
Isn’t she just adorable? We played together at some of my favorite spots on Hollywood Beach. Oakley is full of spunk and definitely kept me on my toes the entire time.
The last two mini session dates of 2011 are Saturday, October 29 and Saturday, November 5. Both dates are in Downtown Hollywood. I love to take advantage of all the wonderful colors and textures in this urban setting. The session is $125. All studio products are available a la carte. For more information call the studio 954-558-6893 or email courtney@courtneyortiz.com.
I’m a little late with this one. Obviously St. Patrick’s Day was last month. I love these two kiddos. We see each other quite often which is amazing. Developing relationships with my tiniest of clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. We all spent an afternoon together at Yaya’s house. We played dress up, rode a pony, harvested fresh eggs from the chicken coup, and ran around and played in the grass. It was perfection!
Twin, three year old boys and a one year old make this family far from “Little”. Such a truly fun session with amazingly cool kids, like Johnny Depp cool. I knew that each frame I snapped was better than the last. These are definitely a contender for the studio update.
Mom and I actually booked this session two months before her due date. Lucky for us, Liv arrived on time, and the newborn session went exactly as planned.
Ok, so it’s been less than a week for my “photo of the day” and I’ve already let the ball drop. Thinking I might be in the market for an intern.
Anyway, love this image of my daughter in one of the airplanes at The Haircut Hangout. (118 S. 20th Avenue in downtown Hollywood). Make sure you become a fan of The Haircut Hangout on Facebook. Not only is it THE BEST place in South Florida for kid’s haircuts and uber cool European style toys, but it’s the home to the courtney ortiz photography studio!! Come by and say “Hi!” and check out some of the latest and greatest boutique products that courtney ortiz photography offers. We’re loading our shelves with samples of holiday cards, coffee table books, pocket albums, and CUSTOM IPHONE COVERS! All perfect Holiday gift ideas. I’m in the studio (most) Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays (9:30-12:30) and Saturdays 9-2. Now’s the time to book your family “Studio Session”. A “Studio Session” is a 30-45 minute session in and around the streets of downtown Hollywood. Very urban, modern, and bright in style, are a $100, and include one 8×12 print. Additional prints, specialty products, and CD’s are available a la carte! Email courtney@courtneyortiz.com for more info!!!!
Thanks to a wonderful client and her family, we attended last night’s Marlins vs Mets game at Sun Life Stadium. Fourth row behind third plate. Letting your kids eat their own cotton candy for dinner secures you a cameo on the jumbo tron! Thankfully I was quick enough to catch it!
It was the best and most fun I’ve had at a baseball game EVER!
