Princess Stella….
I have to admit, my dream job would be to accompany a family to Walt Disney World. I’ve seen it done by other Central Florida Photographers and it’s pretty awesome! My family and I went for Thanksgiving this year. Somewhere, someone, told me that Thanksgiving was the best day to go because there are no crowds. Well that person, has never been on Thanksgiving, or is a big liar! It was crazy busy. So Thanksgiving at Magic Kingdom is not our new tradition as I hoped it would be. But we still had a great time. I didn’t even take my big ol’ camera to the park that day. But I did take it to the Character Breakfast that we went to the next day at the Polynesian Resort.
Well I actually started today one day behind on my 12 Days of Blogging, but I’m since caught up.
This is Avery. She’s three. We were all guests at her birthday party.
This is her friend and neighbor Quinn.
There is only one rule in the Scissors Household.
The ice cream man came, which was pretty cool!
I don’t usually photograph large family groups, but I’m so happy that I had the opportunity with the Lamont family. It reminded me of my own large family. My grandparents have 8 children, 20+ (don’t know the exact number) grandchildren. Family get togethers and reunions are events that I always hold close to my heart! THey were amazing growing up, and even more amazing to me now as an adult. We’re headed to North Carolina the day after Christmas to visit my grandparents, other extended family.
When I say, “jump” my clients say, “how high?” I love my job!
Just a little sneak peak. I’m editing my last session of the year right now! In fact I’m almost done! woop woop!!!!!!!!! I love this image!
What happens when 15 of the best South Florida event and portrait photogrphers get together for a holiday party?????????
Things get a little ……..
And we play scandalous games…
hahahahaha
Actually we’re just a bunch of dorks who love photography, love having our own businesses, and love hanging out and learning with each other.

Ok, so I’m a day behind on my 12 days of Christmas posts due to flooding and lack of electricity for 12 hours. But I’m back and am going to double blog today!
LAST LAST LAST LAST LAST session of 2009! I’ve been photographing this family since the beginning. Three years now! They have complete faith in me and let me do whatever I want! Which I love. I brought them down to my studio for an urban family session! It was so much fun!
I’ve titled this “The Many Faces of EJ”!
Merry Christmas Scudder family! See you next year!
I’m cutting it close with day number 4 of my 12 days of Christmas posts. We decided to do our Target trip tonight as a family, followed by driving around looking at Christmas lights, and ending with dinner at Chili’s. So I’m getting home much later than usual. We had such a great time together! Although Target is getting much trickier as Owen gets older. He wants to buy everything and then cries when we say, “no!”
That being said, I just wanted to share a few images from one of my last sessions of 09. These two cuties were clients during the Janie and Jack mini sessions down at Merrick Park. We spent the afternoon at Matheson Hammock park for a fun and relaxed family session!
On the THIRD day of Christmas, this beautiful family was brought to me………..
Wow, I’m three for three on my twelve days of Christmas blog posting!!!
This gorgeous family is another one I met during the Janie and Jack mini sessions at Merrick Park!
The details in their baby girl’s room are amazing!
