See you tomorrow!
Well AT&T didn’t come that Monday or the following Wednesday, but TODAY. Being that we’re living in a brand new community, there were some bumps in the road, but now we are “wired” or should I say “wireless”. We were two weeks without cable or internet, which really in retrospect wasn’t so bad. Some of our neighbors who moved in closer to the beginning of the year waited months. So we are pretty lucky. But with a Starbucks right around the corner, and very understanding friends and clients, I made it work. It’s funny how quiet my house is at night without the TV on. Almost like an old friend?!? I hate to admit the fact that I am addicted to internet and cable TV. Is it fair to call it an addiction, when really in our everyday lives its really become a necessity. Yikes!
So that being said tomorrow will be two weeks that we’ve been in our new house. I love it. Every inch of it is sweet. I’ll be posting pictures of the house and document the entire design process on a separate blog called “Sisters Not Designers“. Sistersnotdesigners.com is an online journal that I’ll be sharing with my sisters. We’ve all made big living changes recently. Sisters Not Designers are our stories of moving, designing and living with people we love. I’ll be posting later this week. So stay tuned.
My business blog will still be the spot for session sneak peaks and personal pictures of my own children.
Speaking of my own children…
See you tomorrow!
What an adorable little guy!!
Although I’m sure these two have their moments, this brother and sister really knew how to turn on the charm for me. We had a great time together during our Studio Session.
Need I say more?
Last week, the studio hosted our third Matilda Jane Clothing trunk show. Their new line for spring is fun and flirty. I’m loving all the new spring colors.
In honor of how much we love Matilda Jane here at the studio, today’s sneak peak is all Matilda Jane. This little cutie’s mom came to our second Matilda Jane trunk show, and here is little “L” proudly showing off her new duds.
I am so happy to announce today that courtney ortiz photography has a brand spanking new website! BRAND NEW! It’s been a long time coming, and the last few days at the studio have been a bit hectic as we ironed out all the last of the wrinkles.
So with it being such a special day here, I’m happy to showcase one of my favorite families.
This adorable little red head stopped by the studio a couple of weeks ago. She recently was signed with MK Kids and has already booked with American Eagle.
We’re very busy at the studio this week putting the final touches on our brand new courtney ortiz photography website, set to be released on February 1. There will be some slight price increases, so if you’re thinking about booking a session do it this week to lock in the current pricing.
I’ve been sitting on these images for a while now. Mom didn’t want me to post any of them until her holiday cards went out. Well the holidays have come and gone. Good thing these images are here forever.
One of the most satisfying things about my job is truly being able to build relationships with my littlest clients. This little guy has seen a lot of me and will continue to see a lot of me over the next year. But now that he knows and recognizes me, his face totally lights up when he sees me. Can’t get any more job satisfaction than that!
He’s one of the coolest kids I know!
