Meet two week old baby Dominick. I first met this gorgeous momma 22 months earlier with the birth of their little girl Gia.
I love the casual-ness of this at home newborn session. I like to keep things simple and truly capture what life is like for this family at that exact moment in time. It allows me to tell your story.
This mother of 6 (SIX!) is not only a mother of six, but owns L&L Tiny Treasures, an upscale children’s boutique and consignment in downtown Hollywood. I was thrilled to spend some time with them on Hollywood Beach. The weather the past few weeks has not been a friend of courtney ortiz photography, but on this particular evening the sun was out and shining very bright.
Meet “J”, a true surfer girl. When mom asked if she could bring her surf board, my answer was a resounding “YES!” I’m all about incorporating objects into a session that are truly a representation of who you are and what you love.
Meet Camden. We spent a morning together in downtown Hollywood. Not only is he gorgeous, but never have I met a 2 year old who listened and followed directions as well as he did. Camden is L & L Tiny Treasures June “Child of the Month” in the Hollywood Gazette. L & L Tiny Treasures is a new kids’ boutique/upscale consignment shop in downtown Hollywood. Rita, the owner and mother of 6, travels extensively to make sure it is stocked with the newest most fashionable kids goodies on the market today.
I’ll be shooting in downtown Hollywood all summer long.
Life as it happens. Sometimes these things can’t be planned. The perfect dress carefully picked out for the session, sometimes just has to be scrapped. And that’s ok. Because that’s life, and you just have to roll with it. But what fun it all is!
“Cousins” seems to be a reoccurring theme here at courtney ortiz photography. I love that parents think to capture these moments together. Especially when these cousins only get together a couple of times a year. One set of brothers lives in Vancouver.
We here in the studio are loving all the images that are coming from the Hollywood Beach Mini Sessions. It’s more than just images. It’s families and siblings having a fun and memorable experience together on none other than The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.
