This weekend marked the First Annual Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch at Peacock Park in Miami. Together with the The Salvage Snob, a fabulous design company that was “born from the idea of designing with what you have, what once belonged to someone you love, and finding new homes for previously-owned things”, I photographed 88 families in a vintage inspired vignette designed by “the snobs” all for the Children’s Home Society of Miami. We raised $1000 which the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch matched dollar for dollar making for a total of $2,000.
Here’s the very first family that I photographed on Saturday. Gorgeous family, gorgeous setting all for an amazing cause.
To say Twyla is “loved” would be an understatement. I spent a morning running around with this adorable family on the rooftop of a parking garage in Downtown Hollywood. They are getting ready to move cross country to California. I was so flattered to capture them here before they embark on this new adventure.
Just a reminder, Downtown Hollywood mini session dates are now available.
I love this capture between big brother and little brother. You can truly see how happy Tyler is that he finally has a little brother. I was 9 when my sister was born. Never did I think I’d end up with 3 siblings. So I completely relate to this big bro’s elation.
We’ve been on location quite a lot recently. So you’ll see quite a few of those in the coming days/weeks.
Dad wanted to celebrate his daughter’s first birthday with a lifestyle session with his three gorgeous daughters. Thank you to the Seagate Hotel in Delray for allowing us their gorgeous property as a backdrop. Here are two quick sneak peaks from yesterday’s session.
Max turned four just a few weeks ago and he got a newborn baby sister for his birthday! What every four year old wants, right?!? Well this guy fits into his new role as a big brother like a glove. I definitely made sure to spend some time with him when I was at his house for his sister’s newborn shoot. I think he may be the only boy who could rival my son’s love of Star Wars.
On a separate note, the studio will be closed starting tomorrow until August 5. Time to go on vacation!!! All calls and emails will be returned upon my return.
Meet Lennon and Dean. Two week old twins…a boy and girl! I think my hands are full with one baby, I can’t even imagine what life might be like with TWO babies.
Living in South Florida is truly an endless summer, but as far as summer vacation goes, we’re quickly heading into August. It seems like just yesterday school was out and the two months that is “summer” really did seem endless, and now I can’t believe there’s talk in my house of “back to school”.
I’m so happy that I was able to spend an evening with this family on Hollywood Beach. It’s great when a family really appreciates and values professional photography. And I don’t think anyone I have ever photographed before enjoys being in front of the camera as much as their fiery red headed daughter. love!
We really did have such a fun evening at the beach. These family portrait sessions at the beach are so much more than just “pictures”. It’s an afternoon/evening spent together as a family. It’s almost as if the album you receive at the end is just an added bonus.
“Wow! I had an amazing, fun, playful time with my family and now I’ll remember it forever.”
