There’s just something about the relationship between brothers, and when those brothers are twins…..well, it really goes without saying. We spent some time together and hit some of my favorite spots around downtown Hollywood. We laughed, cried, picked our nose and just had a good ol’ time. They kept me on my toes and there’s no doubt they do the same to their mom and dad.
This is Brett. We spent some time together as I photographed him in preparation for his upcoming bar mitzvah. We hit a number of different locations as I captured him doing what he loves most; skateboarding, basketball, and lacrosse. He’s extremely well rounded. Athletic, smart, and from what you can see incredibly cute.
Meet Abby! She’s beautiful, smart, talented, musical and a bat mitzvah girl!! We used these portraits to create a completely custom sign in book. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t take any real pictures of it. The sign in book is really a great memento of a special event that’s easy to keep and remember forever.
It’s Monday morning and it’s gorgeous outside. What a great way to start off my kids’ spring break. Getting this one blog post done before I tune out, slightly, till Wednesday. My best best best best friend from college is coming to visit with her two little girls. I haven’t seen her in 2.5 years, and I’ve never met her youngest daughter Ruby. I’m really excited. My kids are really excited. We’ll all be on a mini vacation. I plan on taking lots and lots and lots of pictures.
If you too happen to be on spring break this week, then I highly suggest taking your kids strawberry picking. I love to pick strawberries. It’s nearing the end of the season here in South Florida, and there’s nothing that compares to that “right off the vine” strawberry. (Although strawberries don’t grow on vines. Strawberry plants are just that…small plants.) I got to spend a couple of hours with my favorite family on Saturday as we ventured south to strawberry pick at Knauss Berry Farms and then stop for fresh fruits and smoothies at Robert’s. I never actually saw or met Robert but was reminded repeatedly that, in fact, “Robert is Here.”
My kids like to buy seeds at Home Depot and then play with them in the backyard. On the day we moved out of our little apartment in Ft. Lauderdale, I discovered these little pumpkin sprouts as I was collecting the odds and ends we kept outside in the yard. We only lived there 7 months, but our family definitely grew and are leaving some roots behind.
I’m a little late with this one. Obviously St. Patrick’s Day was last month. I love these two kiddos. We see each other quite often which is amazing. Developing relationships with my tiniest of clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. We all spent an afternoon together at Yaya’s house. We played dress up, rode a pony, harvested fresh eggs from the chicken coup, and ran around and played in the grass. It was perfection!
Meet baby Jack. He arrived 10 weeks early much to the surprise of his mom and dad, and spent over two months in the NICU at Baptist Hospital. It was a long road, but Jack’s a fighter, and is now home where he belongs.
