We really did have such a fun evening at the beach. These family portrait sessions at the beach are so much more than just “pictures”. It’s an afternoon/evening spent together as a family. It’s almost as if the album you receive at the end is just an added bonus.
“Wow! I had an amazing, fun, playful time with my family and now I’ll remember it forever.”
This is Camden’s second appearance on the blog. We had a little play date on Hollywood Beach. We spent a good deal of time just exploring one my favorite shooting locations, The Atlantic Sands Beach Suites.
Meet The Roses. A beautiful family of five that I spent some time with at their house one Saturday afternoon. We started our visit with the obligatory family formals and ended up flying kites on the golf course they call their backyard. We struggled a little with getting the kites airborne but once we did it was smooth sailing.
Today is July 2! Where has the time gone? Time flies when you’re having fun. I look forward to what the remainder of 2012 has in store. And believe me, I know it’s going to be amazing.
Just a quick share from one of this past weekend’s Hollywood Beach sessions.
Meet two week old baby Dominick. I first met this gorgeous momma 22 months earlier with the birth of their little girl Gia.
I love the casual-ness of this at home newborn session. I like to keep things simple and truly capture what life is like for this family at that exact moment in time. It allows me to tell your story.
This mother of 6 (SIX!) is not only a mother of six, but owns L&L Tiny Treasures, an upscale children’s boutique and consignment in downtown Hollywood. I was thrilled to spend some time with them on Hollywood Beach. The weather the past few weeks has not been a friend of courtney ortiz photography, but on this particular evening the sun was out and shining very bright.
Meet “J”, a true surfer girl. When mom asked if she could bring her surf board, my answer was a resounding “YES!” I’m all about incorporating objects into a session that are truly a representation of who you are and what you love.
