So you’ve decided that you’re going to commission a portrait artist to create amazing, one of a kind art to hang in your home and cherish forever. You’ve chosen the photographer who’s style matches your own (hopefully me) and you’re ready to make the investment. Once all these decisions are made and we’ve confirmed a location and date, I often have clients ask, “What should I wear?” Second to choosing a photographer who you really connect with, wardrobe is definitely the next biggest decision. It’s a major decision! Clothes make the man, and it can make or break your portrait session. I am so excited to share with you an amazing fashion stylist who will work with you to make sure that your entire family looks fabulous for your custom portrait session. I have been working personally with Ashley Scharf for years. Her own twins are my muses and working with her always gets my creative juices flowing. She does it all. Whether it’s just going through your family’s closets and putting together ensembles based on what you already own, going shopping with you or on her own, I guarantee that you’ll look back on your portraits with such pride. Ashley will create a look for your family that is fashionable, cohesive and timeless. Shoot her an email for more information ashleyscharf@aol.com.
Ashley worked with this mom of three amazingly handsome boys to create looks that not only fit the lifestyle of the family, but fit in with the location that we choose as well.

I just got back from a weekend in Atlanta where I attended the Professional Photographers of America (PPA)’s yearly professional convention “Imaging USA.” It was lots of fun and extremely informative. I’m eager to implement all that was learned in this still new year.
Although I have to say the highlight of my trip was meeting Theo and him mom for a lifestyle session in their neighborhood of Candler Park. This little guy stole my heart. I hope to make it up that way and see them both again soon.

Isn’t it funny how here in Florida spring begins January 1st and winter really is the month of December (only because of the holidays!)?
I love how we can wear bright colors and light fabrics all year long!
Downtown Hollywood sessions are now available.

Cash and Kelly just moved into a new house, one block from the beach with views of the intracoastal from their backyard second floor balcony. Mom commissioned a lifestyle session to commemorate this special time in their lives.

Tyler, Andrew and their mom and dad are moving to Pennsylvania. Mom, who is very involved in the local community, wanted to make sure she created an heirloom for her boys of their hometown. “You can take the girl out of Hollywood, but you can’t take Hollywood out of the girl.” I sure can attest to that.
We are now taking commissions for custom portrait sessions in Downtown Hollywood.
