The solution to wanting “all the portraits”. The 12×12 custom coffee table book. This 60 page book of awesomeness contains ALL of your session images. The classic, sewn bound photo book is custom designed with photo cover and printed on gorgeous velvety Mohawk superfine paper.
As I tend to present WAY TOO MANY images taken during a lifestyle session, the coffee table book is the ultimate way to tell your story. The perfect way to capture, keep and enjoy your family’s history.
Mom wanted “studio” portraits of her adorable kiddos. I dusted off the studio equipment and we had a blast. So many amazing art possibilities with these portraits.
Today is Stella’s birthday. Stella is my favorite oldest daughter (I have two), and today she turns 5. On the way home from school we did a quick detour to the studio and we had our first official Courtney Ortiz Photography downtown Hollywood session. These sessions downtown have really become my signature over the years. It was fun to share the enthusiasm of what I do with my daughter, and in the meantime she loves the camera’s attention. It’s a win/win for all.
The last available date for downtown Hollywood sessions is Sunday, November 17. Call the studio 954-558-6893 or shoot me an email, courtney@courtneyortiz.com.
I have no problems breaking out the “potty talk” during a session, but this session took “potty talk” to new heights and we had a blast. We spent some time together exploring some new spots in downtown Hollywood. In fact, these guys were my guinea pigs. You’ll definitely be seeing more of these locations in the coming weeks. (Maybe even in your own portraits). Mini sessions available in downtown Hollywood on the morning of Sunday, November 17. Call the studio 954-558-6893 or email courtney@courtneyortiz.com
Meet Jack and Ryan. Not to be mistaken for Jack Ryan, beloved Tom Clancy novel character. These two brothers are super adorable and we spent a morning at one of my favorite toddler parks.
If you have little ones and don’t think a downtown Hollywood session is exactly right for you, meet me on Saturday, November 16 for mini sessions at this favorite outdoor play park of mine. Call the studio at 954-558-6893 or shoot me an email for more information.
Simona’s parents drove all the way from their home in Boston to meet me in New York City. This really really really meant a lot to me. We met on Saturday afternoon at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District and then made our way onto the High Line. Even though its packed on the weekend we still had a great time. Stopped at the Chelsea Market for a “People’s Pop”, appreciated street art, and played in the green space. It was truly a lifestyle session that portrayed true life on a Saturday afternoon in New York City.
I’ll be back in Manhattan after the first of the year. If you live in the area and would like more information regarding commissioning me for a session please call the studio at 954-558-6893 or shoot me an email, courtney@courtneyortiz.com.
See you soon,
court
Apparently Simona didn’t have the same vision for this shot as I did.
I first met Nina in May, when her mother commissioned her portraits down here on my turf on Hollywood Beach. So of course, I was beyond thrilled to see Nina again on her turf during my trip to New York City. She is super adorable and spending time with her and her family actually made me miss my own kids.
I’ll be in the NYC area again for commissioned portraits in January. Please email courtney@courtneyortiz.com or call the studio 954-558-6893 for more information.
To say that Molly and I had fun during our Lifestyle Session would be a definite understatement. She’s full of life, and not to mention she’s beautiful.
I’ve been shooting these girls for over four years, and just because they moved from South Florida to New York, didn’t mean our relationship was over. Raina, Shaye, and their fabulous mom Tanya met me on a gray foggy Saturday morning in Manhattan. We met outside The Standard Hotel, explored the Meatpacking District, and strolled the High Line (which is quickly becoming my favorite spot in the city).
I’ll be back in New York in January. Stay tuned for more details.
I think it’s been three years since I last photographed little Maddie and Jordan, although they’re not that little anymore. They are now two very gorgeous young ladies. We spent an amazing afternoon in my ‘hood, downtown Hollywood.
Very limited availability for the remainder of 2013. Seems crazy to be thinking about the end of the year already, but 2014 will be here before we know it, and I’m ready!
