The mom-entum keeps going as we continue to showcase favorite “Mom and Kiddo” portraits from the past 8 years, on the Courtney Studios Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts (basically all of social media).
Here’s what you’ve missed over the past two weeks. Some of these portraits date back to Fall of 2007, when Courtney Studios (then Candids by Courtney) first opened it’s doors.
There’s still time to Rock the Vote in the Kids’ Crown Awards. Please take two minutes and vote for Courtney Studios for “Broward: Best Family Photographer”.
Thank you so much for nominating me and Courtney Studios for a South Florida Parenting Magazine “Kid’s Crown Award”. It is because of your love and support, over the past 7 and a half years, that Courtney Studios has reached this level of success and for that I’m grateful.
I am asking for your vote. Please click here and vote for your family favorites or you can scroll to the bottom of the page to the “Photography” category. We are under “Broward: Best Family Photography.” In case you are really motivated you can vote up to 50 times a day.
As a token of my appreciation, I’m holding a contest each week until voting ends. Here’s what you have to do…
That’s it! Each person who shares the contest link on Facebook and says, “I just voted for Courtney Studios” will be entered to win a custom portrait session in Downtown Hollywood and a complimentary 5×7 print.
Enter as many times as you’d like. A winner will be selected each Friday and announced on Monday until the contest ends.
I’m flattered to be considered for such an honor. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it.
Vote…Share…and we all WIN!
Here are a few of my other favorites:
Nicki Kristof Photography – Broward: Best Baby Photography
Unique Design Studio Photography – Multiple: Best Family Photography
And because I can’t post without a portrait, here’s Zelda.

The April Newsletter went live last week. Read it here.
We’re in studio Monday – Friday 9:00-1:30 and by appointment. Although it’s always best to give us a call before stopping by.
We are in the spirit of Mother’s Day here in the studio. Moms, come in and be photographed WITH your kiddos now until Mother’s Day and receive a complimentary frame upgrade with a 5×7 gift print purchase. Framed gift prints (5×7 and smaller) make fabulous Mother’s Day Gifts for both YOU and YOUR MOM. Gift certificates purchased for a special Mom will also receive the frame upgrade.
Love this special Mommy Daughter lifestyle session. See more here. Mom is owner of Give Wink, South Florida’s Premier Baby and Kid boutique.
There is no doubt that a beautiful frame adds a classic touch to portrait photography. At Courtney Studios, we offer a line of 8 distinct frame styles to compliment your portrait art. These three framed 11×14 prints will hang proudly in the family room. Can you imagine the smile it will put on “mom’s” face each time she walks into the room?
Last Saturday, March 21 was World Down Syndrome Day and the premier of the “i EXTRA love you” portrait exhibit held at Gallery 2014 in Downtown Hollywood. ”i EXTRA love you” was the brain child of dear friend and Down Syndrome advocate Daniela Roeder, who’s brother Alex was born with Down Syndrome. Together along with the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Association, Gallery 2014 and making use of the gorgeous Heart installation in Courtney Studios by amazing artist Alissa Alfonso, “i EXTRA love you” was born. This project filled me with more pride and joy than any other charitable work I have done in my life. The smiles on these kids faces and the happiness that it brought their families is something I wish I could bottle and save forever. In case you missed Saturday’s exhibit, here are the portraits. 28 gorgeous children and young adults. If you’d like to see pictures of the actual event click here. They are on the Courtney Studios facebook page.
Meet the Rojas. The March winner in our monthly Courtney Studios/Hollywood Gazette Family of the Month Contest. I love these portraits. They were taken in the new natural light studio and this handsome little one is bathed in the most beautiful light and the love of his mama and dad.
This Saturday, March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day and the premier of “i EXTRA love you”: a collaborative photography portrait project between Courtney Studios, artist Alissa Alfonso and The Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Association. “i EXTRA love you” showcases what makes a person with Down Syndrome truly so “extra”, in reference to the extra 21 chromosome that is inherent in people with Down Syndrome. The exhibit will be on display at Gallery 2014 in Downtown Hollywood (2014 Harrison St) this Saturday from 7-10.
