It’s Friday, so say hello to Elizabeth and Ethan and their incredibly good looking mom and dad. This is the second time I’ve been lucky enough to take their family portraits and I love them.
If you missed it on Tuesday, the studio newsletter was emailed out, but you can get all your updated news right here.

Congratulations to these wonderful, loving, couples who TODAY won the fight for marriage equality in Florida. I’m so happy that I was able to work with Equality Florida and photograph 5 of the 6 plaintiffs during the summer. These images have been around the world and back again in support of equality for all. Check out the feature in the Huffington Post.
Planning a wedding? From small intimate courthouse ceremonies to large lavish affairs…you’ve waited forever for this. We can make your memories last forever.
We are getting ready to close up for the Holidays. To say that we’ve been busy here is an understatement. Meeting new clients and seeing familiar faces is always a treat. The studio is closed starting Tuesday 12/23 and we will reopen on Monday, January 12.
Whatever you celebrate, I hope it’s the best one yet.
Never have I seen a little brother love his big sister as much as this guy. Truly amazing.
If you missed our last studio newsletter, you missed the big announcement that we’re moving AGAIN! I’m excited to announce that this time it’s to our first very own dedicated studio space. We are moved in and are currently meeting and photographing clients, although there is still a lot to do (pardon our dust), but this is the busy season and we can’t miss a beat. There are a lot of changes in store for Courtney Ortiz Photography in 2015 (a new name possibly…hint hint) and I’m really excited to launch this come the first of the year. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve had some sneak peaks at the new space. Natural light that would make any natural light photographer drool. I’m one lucky girl.
Meet Izzy and Jack. This marks the fourth time I’ve photographed this growing family. We had a great time together until little Jack fell and skinned his knee. But as you can see big sister Izzy definitely made it up for it.
Can you believe it’s November already. Lots of exciting stuff going on at the studio. We are moving AGAIN. Into our very own dedicated studio space with AMAZING natural light. Still located in downtown Hollywood and still on Harrison St. But that’s a story for a different day. Stay tuned as I share more details of the big move in the days and weeks to come.
Three times a charm for this brother and sister. Really getting to know kids and their families is one of the best things about what I do. I’m a pretty lucky girl.
